Back in 2014, Vertigo Theatre produced the world premiere of Raymond Chandler’s Farewell, My Lovely by Aaron Bushkowsky. Vertigo Theatre was so pleased with that production that they commissioned Bushkowsky to write Chandler’s The Big Sleep for the stage.
