Farewell, My Lovely

An adaptation of Raymond Chandler’s hardboiled detective story of the same name, featuring down-on-his luck Philip Marlowe, America’s most famous private eye, who hasn’t had a case in a while. Marlowe is hired by felon Moose Malloy who is trying to solve the disappearance of his girl, Velma, a beautiful nightclub singer and “a blonde to make a bishop kick a hole in a stained-glass window.”

Production History

Premiered in 2014 at Vertigo Theatre, Calgary.

Played April 2-May 2, 2015 at Arts Club Theatre on the Granville Island Stage, Vancouver under the direction of Craig Hall.
