Forget About Tomorrow

By Jill Daum

With songs by John Mann

A NEW PLAY ABOUT MOVING FORWARD

When Jane’s husband Tom is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, they face a difficult journey ahead. Will love and humour be enough to brace their family for the future? Can Jane reconcile her dreams with today’s reality? Or will she grow to doubt her loyalty to the man who will ultimately forget her name? From one member of the award-winning Mom’s the Word Collective, this is a story of hope and change.

"Forget About Tomorrow is an experience you’ll remember for a long time...There’s tremendous joy on the page, even in the heaviest moments, and Daum has a gift for deliciously wicked quips, which helps make Forget About Tomorrow an exquisite balancing act of comedy and tragedy, reality and fiction."

The Georgia StraightAndrea Warner

"...a smart, sad and super-funny story about acceptance and love. Trust me, you will leave the theatre feeling better."

Vancouver SunDana Gee

"Forget About Tomorrow is a play about real people in a real-life situation. It is unexpected, moving, and also very funny."
