Too Close to Home

By Alison Lawrence

Margaret is living out her retirement in the small town that was a summer home to her and her late husband.  She has friends she attends yoga and movie nights with, she volunteers at the local library, and her friend and neighbour Bruce will always help around the house if she needs anything. It’s a good life, if uneventful – until her daughter Julie and grandson Connor come crashing through her door late one night and her “good", “uneventful" life turns upside down.

Production History

Too Close to Home premiered at Theatre Orangeville on March 13, 2020.
