Suzy Wilde

Suzy Wilde (She/Her) is a Canadian composer, lyricist, arranger, and multi-faceted musician based in Toronto. Her new musical, After The Rain (with book-writer Rose Napoli) premiers this spring as a co-production of Tarragon and Musical Stage Company. She has written scores for many other pieces, including Retold, the Dora-nominated collective adaptation of Mavis Gallant’ short stories (with Rose Napoli; Musical Stage Company), The Great Pause ( with Zorana Sadiq; Community Music Schools of Toronto), Summerland (with Anika Johnson and Barbara Johnston; Edge of the Sky Theatre), and The Crack of Doom or: How I Learned to Love the Meteor (with Matt Bernard; Bravo/ TO Fringe Fest). Along with writing partner Rose Napoli, Wilde is the recipient of Tarragon Theatre’s Bulmash-Seigel prize and the Musical Stage Company’s Aubrey and Marla Dan fund. She has arranged for Sheridan College, Randolph College, Musical Stage Company, Sole Power, The Rose Orchestra, The Riverdale Share Orchestra, The Wexford Gleeks, RPSM, The Mississauga Big Band, and more. Wilde is co-artistic director of Wannabe: A Spice Girls Tribute, where she tours internationally as “Posh Spice”.
