Space Girl

Lyra is a social media star who has lived on the moon her entire life but feels the pull of the Earth. Escaping a deadly meteor shower lands her in the middle of the adventure of her life, giving her the chance to not only save Earth from certain destruction, but to discover her true self, hidden beneath the need for popularity and acceptance by her legion of followers.

Space Girl is a quirky and hilarious journey from the moon and back, to find what really matters.

Production History

Space Girl premiered at Prairie Theatre Exchange in Winnipeg, Manitoba in March 2023 directed by Krista Jackson. It was filmed by Ice River Films and available for streaming via Prairie Theatre Exchange as part of its 2023/2024 season and Image Theatre in Montreal, Quebec in Winter 2024.
