Audrey Dwyer

Director

Audrey Dwyer studied theatre in Montreal, Quebec at Canada’s National Theatre School. In 2011, she directed The Apology by Darrah Teitel (Next Stage Festival). She was nominated for a Dora Award for Outstanding Direction for The Apology. In 2018, Audrey directed her play Calpurnia (Nightwood Theatre and Sulong Theatre). The box office hit was shown to sold out audiences at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. In 2019, she directed Prairie Nurse by Marie Beath Badian (Lighthouse Theatre). In 2020, she directed Women of the Fur Trade by Frances Koncan (Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre). In 2021, she directed The Mountaintop by Katori Hall (Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre). She also directed Blink by Phil Porter (University of Winnipeg). Audrey was nominated for the Pauline McGibbon Award for Direction twice.
