Nick is a Dora Mavor Moore, Elizabeth Sterling Haynes, and Tom Hendry award winning playwright and book writer based in Toronto.

Nick’s play Casey and Diana premiered at the Stratford Festival of Canada in 2023, enjoying a sold-out run and being heralded as “…the most moving Canadian play of the year” by the Toronto Star. The play chronicles the seven days leading up to Princess Diana’s visit to Toronto’s Casey House, Canada’s first free-standing AIDS hospice. Casey and Diana will be having another production at Toronto’s Soulpepper Theatre in 2024.

His musical In Real Life, written with composer Kevin Wong, will be presented as the centrepiece production during the 2024 inaugural Canadian Festival of New Musicals. This two-act sci-fi musical explores the future of communication and human connection

Dr Silver, a dark new musical for which Nick is the book writer (with composers Anika Johnson and Britta Johnson), was showcased for the second time at California’s South Coast Repertory as a part of their Pacific Playwrights Festival in 2023.
